I am lost for words!

I must commend you on your eagle eyes. I was very keen on the Frodsham due to its rarity but you have single handedly put me off purchasing this watch. And for that I must thank you because I can't afford to buy an incorrect vintage watch. I don't even us

This is either the worst factory print job I have ever seen or more likely the work of a poor dial refinisher.

The off center alignment , the very poor print quality and accuracy. The Zero for the numbers is misshapened. The Quarter Markers are all misshapened. The 1 in 15 looks like a double strike. The whole subdial is a amature level print of a cheap rubber sta

Ah I see

Well, I had sent the same photo to Richard Stenning, one of the co owners of Charles Frodsham who has confirmed that it is a rare Frodsham wristwatch from the 1950s. He had also confirmed that the case maker during that time was Dennison and the movement

This time last year Padj shared the sad news that Christopher had passed away. Another valuable forum member which we lost. Here is that original post; www.watchprosite.com And also below some words I shared in the comments which hopefully paint a

Congratulations on 4 masterpieces.

I don’t mind waiting if I get accurate estimates.

I don’t like it when they constantly move the goal post like KV. I have a Frodsham on order and they told me it would be around 7 years. It’s like great I know that’s way down the pipeline. But if I’m being told this year then another year comes and goes

Yes and yes. I like the British matchmaking aesthetic and would love to see more artisanal watchmaking from Asia

Very happy with my Garrick. I would love to see more work like this out of the UK, right now there's a huge white space in the UK between micro brand like Fears and the super high end like RWS and Frodsham.

When it comes to watch collecting

no one is being forced to buy a watch and we all tend to focus on watches in our price budgets. Irrespective of a price of a watch, there will always be a market for it due to its movement finishing or complication. The Raul Pages may seem expensive but i

The Grande Sonnerie was miniaturized 100 years before Dufour, and one can be yours for a the price of a new Submariner!

Franck Muller and Philippe Dufour both exhibited grande et petite sonnerie wrstwatches at Basel 1992. Dufour painstakingly reverse-engineered and miniaturized a design by the Reymond bothers. The Reymonds were known for supplying rough clockwatch ebauches
